“A bar? At NY Pie?!”

Yes! Our Capitol View location still boasts the same incredible NY style pizza you’re used to, but with a full bar (ice cold beer, craft cocktails, and a fantastic wine selection). Aside from our drinks being great in their own right, we thought a bar environment would really add to the conversational, community-focused vibe we’re creating at CV!

“What about La Tavola? What’s that?”

"La Tavola" translates from Italian as "the table", but it has a much deeper meaning as well. It's also the gathering, the warmth, the feeling you get when sharing great food with close friends and family. Italian culture puts heavy emphasis on how food can bring us together, and we wanted to bring that idea into the restaurant with our new team of wait staff and our massive centerpiece resin-poured table.

When combined, our switch to La Tavola & Bar at CV represents both a physical change (featuring a full bar and sit-down wait service) and a spiritual one. With this location, we really want to lean into our community focus and provide a comfortable get-together spot for regulars and new faces alike. We’ve also rolled out our Wild Hospitality program; while training the team, a ton of time was put toward learning how to provide incredible customer service in a busy store like ours (more details coming in a future post). A conversation-based environment, exceptionally warm service, and deliciously authentic pizza… That’s what we mean by La Tavola & Bar!
